सुभाष, तुम्ही श्रीराम लागू व अशोक सराफ या लेखांमध्ये दोन नवीन छायाचित्रे वापरली आहेत असे दिसले; तसेच त्या दोन्ही चित्रांच्या संचिका तुम्हीच चढवल्यात असे दिसले. ती दोन्ही चित्रे तुम्हाला कुठून मिळाली, व ती 'कॉपीराइट-फ्री' आहेत का? विकिपीडियावर कॉपीराइट-मुक्त चित्रेच वापरायची परवानगी आहे. तुम्ही चढवलेल्या चित्रांचे कॉपीराइट आहेत किंवा नाहीत ते कळवा, म्हणजे त्यानुसार ही चित्रे वापरायची किंवा उडवायची हे ठरवता येईल.

सुभाष, मी तुम्ही दिलेल्या दुव्यांवरील चित्रे पाहिली. त्यातील श्रीराम लागूंच्या चित्रावर 'संजय पेठे' असे नाव लिहिले आहे, जे व्यावसायिक छायाचित्रकार आहेत. तस्चे, अशोक सराफ यांचे चित्र कुठल्याशा छायाचित्रकारानेच काढले असावे. अश्या चित्रांवर स्वतः छायाचित्रकार किंवा त्या वेबसाइटचा प्रताधिकार( = कॉपीराइट) असतो. त्यामुळे ही चित्रे उडवावी लागतील असे मला वाटते.
तसेच, तुम्ही आता किशोर कुमार व सचिन देव बर्मन यांची चित्रे प्रताधिकारमुक्त आहेत किंवा मर्यादित प्रताधिकार सवलतीने देऊ केली आहेत हे सांगाल का? म्हणजे त्याप्रमाणे या चित्रांबाबतही निर्णय घेता येईल. अधिक माहितीसाठी इंग्लिश विकिपीडियावरील हे पान वाचा.
बाकी, किशोर कुमार, सचिन देव बर्मन यांच्या लेखांत तुम्ही 'माहितीचौकट अभिनेता' हा साचा वापरलात असे दिसते. खरे तर हे दोघंही जण गायक, संगीतकार म्हणून प्रसिद्ध आहेत. त्यामुळे संबंधित साचा वापरावा. माझ्या माहितीप्रमाणे 'माहितीचौकट संगीतकार' हा साचा अजून कोणी बनवला नाहीये. मला तुम्ही २-३ दिवस दिलेत तर मी तो बनवून देऊ शकेन. किशोर कुमार यांच्या लेखात गायकाबद्दलचा माहितीचौकट साचा वापरावा असे मी सुचवतो.

I have extremely limited devnagari access here, so English will have to do for now...
I think you're correct as far as the etymology of his name goes, however, pronunciation (from the sources I have heard) and transcription signal otherwise.
The english spelling is Hrithik. Discounting for the th as a त in south indian style still yields ह्रितिक. I'd recommend keeping the main article as is and adding ऋतिक रोशन as a redirect.

नमस्कार,
आपण एर इंडियाचे एअर इंडिया केलेले पाहिले. वस्तुतः एर या इंग्लिश शब्दाचा उच्चार दीर्घ ए सारखा केला जातो. उदा. care/केर, fair/फेर, tare/टेर. हिंदीमध्ये हे शब्द अनुक्रमे केयर/केअर, फेयर/फेअर, टेयर/टेअर असे उच्चारले जातात. मराठीत असा प्रघात असल्याचे पाहिले नाही. तरी एर (air) शब्दाचे शुद्धलेखन एर असेच असू द्यावे.

Andheri is the last station northwards on Harbor line. Jogeshwari is connected to Andheri only on Western line (as far as I can remember)

- Andheri already has the western line template that shows Jogeshwari as the next station north on that line.
- A combination of Andheri-as-last-station-on-harbor and Jogeshwari-next-station-on-Western will convey the message that a passenger can not travel to Jogeshwari on harbor line, but s/he can do so on Western.

There's already a template {{भारताची राष्ट्रीय दिनदर्शिका}} that corresponds to Indian national calendar. This calendar is tied to the solar year (and hence to the Gregorian calendar).

You leaving is not going to solve the problem. If anything, it will worsen it. I have been working here for more than 2 years and have seen many people show up and leave after a short time, citing the very reasons you did. If only they hung on, we would have a big group of (at least 30) people working on this.
I can not force you to work here, as this effort is totally voluntary, however, I hate to see people leave a good cause because others do not contribute. Well, if it's a good cause, it does not matter who is or is not contributing. I have the conviction that this effort will enrich my language and help my people, and to that effect, I will pour every spare moment I can into it. It does not matter if others wish/choose to follow/join. At the risk of sounding vaguely irrelvant, let me remind you that Laxmanshastri Joshi probably went through the same thoughts as you did when he was building Marathi Vishvakosh. I'm sure if he had quit, Marathi language and people would have been the poorer for it.
I hope you stay and work here. There's a mountain to be moved and (as you said yourself,) a few people will not be enough to move it.

प्रमाणित वर्गीकरणाला प्राधान्य अपेक्षित
नमस्कार,
आपण इ.स.च्या काही वर्षांचे अशामध्ये वर्गीकरण केलेले आढळले. उपक्रम स्तुत्य आहे. परंतु आपल्याला एक निवेदन आहे की, आपण प्रमाणित वर्गीकरण वापरावे. जसे वर्ग:इ.स. २०८४ व तत्सम वर्षवर्गांमध्ये आपण वर्ग:इ.स.चे एकविसावे शतक असे वर्गीकरण उपयोजिले आहे. त्याऐवजी वर्ग:इ.स.चे २१ वे शतक असे प्रमाणित वर्गीकरण निवडावे, म्हणजे सगळीकडे सामायिक वर्गीकरण निर्माण होईल.

Which part exactly are you looking for? You can diff the two css files and post the differences. I (or another admin) will go over it and make the change.

- The css on en wiki is diff because it has less than mr wiki has. If you notice, on the edit box, there are many more buttons on mr wiki than en, so if we simply copy entire css from en to mr, we will lose a bunch of buttons and other functionality.
- If we identify a useful feature on en or another wiki, we will move that here by hand.

सुभाष, ’हवाई दल’ हा शब्दप्रयोग मराठी वृत्तपत्रीय आणि संरक्षणविषयक लिखाणात Airforce या शब्दाकरता बर्‍याच प्रमाणात आणि काळापूर्वीपासून वापरात असल्याने रूढ झालाय. बालपणी वाचायला लागल्यापासून ’सकाळ’, ’लोकसत्ता’, ’महाराष्ट्र टाइम्स’ या वृत्तपत्रांत ’भारतीय/अमेरिकन/पाकिस्तानी हवाई दल’, ’हवाईदलप्रमुख’, ’हवाई दलाची प्रात्यक्षिके’ यासारखे शब्दप्रयोग वापरात असल्याचे स्मरते (भाषिक पैलूंकरता वृत्तपत्रेच सर्वोत्तम संदर्भ असतात असे नाही हे मलाही मान्य आहे. हल्ली वृत्तपत्रांतही काही वेळा धेडगुजरी, व्याकरणदृष्ट्या चुकीचे, शुद्धलेखनात गंडलेले लिखाण वाचायला मिळते :D. पण शब्दप्रयोगाची रूढता दाखवण्याकरता मी त्यांचा संदर्भ देतोय.). त्यातील ’हवा’ या मुळातल्या फारसी शब्दाचे ’हवाई’ हे नामसाधित विशेषण हिंदी, मराठी अशा भारतीय भाषांत ’तत्सम शब्दांसारखे’ सामावले गेले आहे. ’वायुदल’ किंवा ’वायुसेना’ हे शब्द केंद्र सरकारी पातळीवरील संस्कृतप्रचुर हिंदीचा वापर करण्याच्या अलिखित धोरणातून निपजलेल्या परिभाषेतले शब्द आहेत. मराठीत रूढ शब्दप्रयोग नसताना सरकारी परिभाषेतल्या शब्दांची उसनवारी करायला हरकत नाही; पण मराठीत त्यापेक्षा वेगळे शब्दप्रयोग रूढ असताना सरकारी हिंदी शब्दप्रयोगांशी बांधिलकी मानायची गरज नाही (असे माझे मत आहे. :) ). बाकी, ’हवाई दल (यात ’हवाई’ हा शब्द विशेषण असल्याने ’दल’ या शब्दापासून वेगळा लिहिला जातो.)’ ’हवाईदलप्रमुख (हा शब्द सामासिक असल्याने सलग लिहिला जातो.)’ हे शब्द मराठी वृत्तपत्रांत वापरली गेल्याची उदाहरणे खालीलप्रमाणे:

Interwiktionary linking is different
Dear Subhash Thanks for supporting and contributing to Marathi Wiktionary.Please do note that interwiktionary linking is different than that of interwikipedia linking.In inter wiktionary linking word अकथित is supposed to be there in all language wiktionaries in devanagari script only and only "अकथित" pages are supposed to be linked with each other simmillerly word "Untold" needs to be created separately at Marathi Wiktionary and needs to be linked with word "Untold" of english wiktionary.
अकथित is not supposed to be linked with "Untold" or vice versa, doing so would be wrong practice.
English and every wiktionary will have page name अकथित and will have a complete wiktionary article in there own language about graamaara and usage of word अकथित simmillerly it would be about word Untold will have separate article on Marathi wiktionary with its gramatical info explained in Marathi.
Please avoid cross language word linking doing so will create technical confusions.

Subhash, It seems you have taken some efforts on साचा:माहितीचौकट लेखक. But this template is kind of deprecated. We already have साचा:माहितीचौकट साहित्यिक as generic template for catering articles related to authors, poets, lyricists, fiction-nonfiction-writers etc. In that context, I feel this साचा:माहितीचौकट लेखक template should be deleted. Could you confirm the same?

I am aware of this. Unfortunately, I'm at a place right now where I do not have access to devnagari keyboard. That prevents me from logging in under my administrator id (Baraha and all other software don't help with login process.)

सुभाष, काही दिवसांपूर्वी तुम्ही चावडीवर या इ.स. बाबत विचार मांडले होते. त्या चर्चेचा तेव्हा काही निष्कर्ष निघाला नव्हता. सध्या तरी इ.स. १९९४ असाच दुवा द्यावा लागत आहे. मला वाटते या संदर्भात कौल पानावर कौल घेऊन निर्णय घ्यावा. कारण काही विशिष्ट लेखांसाठी (ज्या मध्ये संख्येची माहिती असेल) असे हजारो लेख तयार करणे उचित वाटत नाही. जर १००० म्हणजेच इ.स. १००० असा निर्णय झाला तर सर्व पुनर्निर्देशने तयार करायला माझा हरकाम्या तयारच आहे. कृपया आपले मत कळवावे. कौस्तुभ समुद्र (चर्चा) ०९:५५, १३ फेब्रुवारी २००८ (UTC)

Thanks for your comment. I do realise that the catagorisation of templates I did, was not proper & I'm aware of the issue. सदस्य:Maihudon also brought this issue to my notice. But I didn't know how to use HTML commands and it took me quit a while to figure out what could have gone wrong. नमस्कार,
मी संपादित केलेल्या ज्या साच्यांमध्ये noinclude tag नव्हता त्या बहुतेक सर्व साच्यांमध्ये noinclude tag टाकला आहे. तरी एखाद्या साच्यांमध्ये हा tag नसल्यास किंवा टाकायचा राहीला असल्यास कळवावे.
