I have seen that done (changed logo) on many wikipedias when they reach an important mile-stone. It is usually done for a week or so and then reverted back.
Getting Marathi wikipedia to 10,000 articles is no small task. I doubt if we will see th 1,00,000 mark in the near future (unless participation increases exponentially) and I believe this is one of the most important events for Marathi wikipedia and as such, should be celebrated, advertized wherever possible.
I intend to revert the logo back on June 3rd, but if y'all feel it needs to be done earlier, I'll do that sooner.
