Google चा उच्चार

Google चा उच्चार त्यातील 'goo' या सिलॅबलमुळे 'गूगल' ('ग' ला जोडलेला उकार दीर्घ उच्चारला जातो.) असा होतो. 'गुगल' या लेखनाप्रमाणे त्याचा उकार र्‍हस्व उच्चारला जात नाही. 'गुगल शोध' आणि 'गुगल (कंपनी)' या लेखांबाबतही उच्चार तपासून पहावा.

I don't think Sankalp is insisting on Marathi spelling based exactly on English spelling. He is saying that common pronunciation of Google is closer to "गूगल" than "गुगल". I also like "गूगल" (I pronounce Google that way).

The name Google has origins in the term googolplex, signifying the number $10^{\,\!10^{100}}$. That term is definitely pronounced गूगल.
