- Strongly oppose protection. There is no need for such drastic measure. Interwiki links can be corrected and disambiguation page can be added (on Marathi as well as English Wikipedia) to remedy the problem of confusion.

Mahitgar has suggested protecting from unregistered IPs only. This will guard against mischievous vandals.

- Blocking unregistered users might be fine but I see no vandalism on अंजनी थॉमस or अंजनी yet. Why be so proactive? Even on English Wikipedia I see nothing that can be characterized as vandalism.

- I strongly feel problem of mistaken Identity likely to continue for this article for some more time.This reduces standard of Wikipedia as an encyclopedia.
- Another way may be some of active users will need to keep continues vigilance for all interwiki linking related to on अंजनी थॉमस or अंजनी at English Hindi and Marathi wikipedia for substantialy long period.
- Interwiki linking is usualy done by bots and usualy they are registered users.

- I am still not convinced about protecting this page. There has been no vandalism anywhere and correcting inter-wiki links is easy enough. Our concern should be limited to English interwiki links on Marathi Wikipedia as those links are usually used by bots. We need vigilance only on Marathi Wikipedia (which we do anyway) and other wikipedias can take care of themselves.

- Interwiki linking policy that I remember is bots are supposed to take clue from interwiki links from english wikipedia . And users from respective wikipedias ony need add proper inter wiki link at english wikipedia. and not vice vesa. But this rule does not seem to be followed properly.

- Understand and agree that eventual correction takes place,but incase of any unfortunate thing / upload and any misunderstanding by Indian media or Indian political groups may lead to unfortunate things unfortunately still concept of wikipedia is not well understood by our all Marathi Brothers
- कालांतराने सुधारणा होतात या मताशी मी सहमत आहे. पण बहूतांश मराठी लोकांना विकिपीडियाची संकल्पना व्यवस्थित ठावूक नाही.जेव्हा राजकीय स्वार्थ आणि पीत पत्रकारीता आपल्या देशात आणि महाराष्ट्रात तात्कालीक फायद्याच्या पोळ्या भाजून घेण्यात यशस्वी होतात. कायदा आणि नागरी हक्कांचे पालन बरेचसे उफराट्या पद्धतीने होते. सत्यम्‌ शिवम्‌ सुंदरा च्या ओळी आळवणारी मंडळी सत्य व्यवस्थित पचवू शकत नाहीत,विचार स्वातंत्र्य आणि अभिव्यक्ति स्वातंत्र्य सामुहीक झूंड शाही पुढे झूकत. अर्थात या सर्वांची पण खूप काळजी नाही पण अजाणता एखादी संचिका अमराठी सद्स्या कडून अपलोड झाली तर आवश्यक संयम शहाणपण आणि धीर तथाकथीत माध्यमे आणि राजकीय सामाजिक संस्कृती दाखवेलच असे नाही.
