सिमरनजीत सिंग मान
सिमरनजीत सिंग मान (जन्म २० मे १९४५) [१] पंजाबमधील माजी पोलीस अधिकारी आणि संगरूर मतदारसंघाचे खासदार आहेत. [२] [३] [४] ते शिरोमणी अकाली दल (अमृतसर) या राजकीय पक्षाचे अध्यक्ष आहेत. मान दोन वेळा खासदार; एकदा १९८९ मध्ये तरण तारण येथून, १९९९ मध्ये संगरूर येथून. [५] [६]
प्रारंभिक जीवन संपादन
१९४५ मध्ये शिमला येथे जन्मलेले ते लष्करी-राजकीय पार्श्वभूमीतून आले आहेत. त्यांचे वडील लेफ्टनंट कर्नल. जोगिंदर सिंग मान, १९६७ मध्ये पंजाब विधानसभेचे अध्यक्ष होते. [७] त्यांचे लग्न गीतंदर कौर मान यांच्याशी झाले आहे. [८] मान यांची पत्नी आणि पंजाबचे माजी मुख्यमंत्री अमरिंदर सिंग यांच्या पत्नी प्रनीत कौर या बहिणी आहेत. [९]
त्यांचे शिक्षण बिशप कॉटन स्कूल, शिमला आणि चंदीगड शासकीय महाविद्यालयात झाले . ‘इतिहास’, ‘पंजाबी’, ‘धर्म’ आणि ‘राज्यशास्त्र’ या विषयांत ते सुवर्णपदक विजेते होते. [१]
