Being Marathi language Wikipedia and here Marathi (in Devanagari script) it is the most preferred language of USAGE. Marathi Wikipedia provides you a comprehensive Marathi language support. You are welcome to practice your test edit/s using Marathi typing skills at our own local sandbox.

One can use non-Marathi language only on limited pages like Wikipedia embassy, but not in main article space.

You are always WELCOME to participate in our Translation Project and you can make your {{Translate}} requests there.

Attention! Kindly note that for all ARTICLES other than few essential exceptions, the article name has to be essentially in Marathi language (Devanagari script). For more information regarding this, you may refer to our विकिपीडिया:शीर्षकलेखन संकेत.

अपवाद / Exceptions

• User pages of (only) Non-Marathi Wikipedians; (Gadgets and js script codes within wiki policy)
• Tempate namespace parameters (only)
• News letters for registered user talk pages from Sister projects (Summary in that respect mandatory)
• Reference max up to 30% of total writing (also for talk namespaces)
• Content of other languages in main namespace due for translation should not be more than 2% of total marathi Wikipedia content.एकूण लेख संख्येच्या अंदाजे २% पेक्षा अधिक लेख भाषांतर प्रतिक्षेत (इंग्रजी मसुद्याच्या स्वरूपात) असू नयेत असा संकेत आहे.
• An editor should not paste non-marathi content more than 2% of own written tota content for translation purposes. स्वतःच्या संपादन संख्येच्या २% पेक्षा अधिक लेखात मसुदे परभाषेत चिटकवू नयेत.
