कैवल्य त्रिविक्रम परनाईक
लेफ्टनंट जनरल कैवल्य त्रिविक्रम परनाईक (जन्म २८ जून १९५३) हे भारतीय लष्कराचे निवृत्त जनरल अधिकारी आहेत जे अरुणाचल प्रदेशचे राज्यपाल म्हणून कार्यरत आहेत. [१] [२] [३] नॉर्दन कमांड क्षेत्रात जनरल ऑफिसर म्हणून पदभार स्वीकारणारे ते महाराष्ट्रातील पहिले व्यक्ती आहेत. [४]

लष्करी कारकीर्द संपादन
मार्च १९७२ मध्ये राजपुताना रायफल्समध्ये त्यांची नियुक्ती झाली.[५][६]
२६ जानेवारी २००३ रोजी, परनाईक यांना 2001-2002 भारत-पाकिस्तान संघर्षादरम्यान त्यांच्या इन्फंट्री ब्रिगेडच्या नेतृत्वासाठी युद्ध सेवा पदक प्रदान करण्यात आले.[७] [८]
मेजर जनरल पदावर बढती मिळाल्यानंतर परनाईक यांची सिक्कीममधील १७वी माउंटन डिव्हिजनचे कमांडिंग जनरल ऑफिसर म्हणून नियुक्ती करण्यात आली. [९] नंतर त्यांनी भूतानमध्ये भारतीय लष्करी प्रशिक्षण संघाचे नेतृत्व केले. [१०] २००९ मध्ये, परनाईक यांना लेफ्टनंट जनरल पदावर पदोन्नती देण्यात आली आणि तेजपूरमध्ये IV कॉर्प्सचे कमांडिंग जनरल ऑफिसर म्हणून नियुक्त करण्यात आले. २६ जानेवारी २०१० रोजी, परनाईक यांना उत्तम युद्ध सेवा पदक प्रदान करण्यात आले. १ डिसेंबर २०१० रोजी, परनाईक यांना आर्मी कमांडरचा दर्जा देण्यात आला आणि त्यांना नॉर्दर्न कमांडचे कमांडर-नियुक्त करण्यात आले. त्यांनी १ जानेवारी २०११ रोजी लेफ्टनंट जनरल बीएस जसवाल यांच्याकडून पदभार स्वीकारला.[१२] २६ जानेवारी २०१२ रोजी त्यांना परम विशिष्ट सेवा पदक प्रदान करण्यात आले. [१३] उत्तर आर्मी कमांडर म्हणून अडीच वर्षांच्या कार्यकाळानंतर, ३० जून २०१३ रोजी ते सैन्यातून निवृत्त झाले [१४]

परनाईक यांची १२ फेब्रुवारी २०२३ रोजी भारताच्या राष्ट्रपती द्रौपदी मुर्मू यांनी अरुणाचल प्रदेशचे राज्यपाल म्हणून नियुक्ती केली होती. [१५]
