सप्त लोक

वेदकालीन ऋषीमुनींनी सप्त लोकांची संकल्पना मांडली आहे. ते सात लोक पुढीलप्रमाणे -

१) भूः = जडद्रव्यांचे जग (The material World)

२) भुवः = जीवन किंवा प्राणतत्त्व (World of pure vitality)

3) स्वः = मन (World corresponding to the principle of pure or unobscured mind)

४) महा = अतिमानस (The great world, the world of Truth, Supramental)

५) जन = शुद्ध आनंद (The world of creative delight of existence)

६) तपः = शुद्ध चिच्छक्ती (World of tapas, world of infinite Will or Consciousness-Force)

७) सत्य = शुद्ध सत्ता. (World of the highest truth of being)
