English: The Dnyaneshwari (Marathi: ज्ञानेश्वरी, Jñānēśvarī), also referred to as Jnanesvari, Jnaneshwari or Bhavartha Deepika is a commentary on the Bhagavad Gita written by the Marathi saint and poet Dnyaneshwar in 1290 CE. It is the oldest surviving literary work in the Marathi language. It is a commentary on the Hindu scripture the Bhagavad Gita, and an important text for the Varkari tradition of Hinduism.

The first two pages of the manuscript are shown above. This manuscript was produced in 1765 Saka (1843 CE). The manuscript has 609 surviving pages, with 9 lines per page. Its edges are much decayed and damaged. The full text has about 9000 verses. This manuscript is a part of the joint digitization effort between the University of Arizona and the British Library, under the Endangered Archives Programme supported by Arcadia.
