हरेंद्र कुमार मुखर्जी

हरेंद्र कुमार मुखर्जी हे भारत विभाजन करण्यापूर्वी भारतीय संविधान तयार करण्यासाठी भारतीय संविधान सभेचे उपाध्यक्ष होते. ते पश्चिम बंगालचे पहिले गव्हर्नर होते.[][][]

ते बंगालचे शिक्षणतज्ज्ञ, प्रमुख ख्रिश्चन नेता, संविधान सभाचे अल्पसंख्य अधिकार समितीचे अध्यक्ष आणि प्रांतीय संविधान समितीचे अध्यक्ष होते - विधानसभेत केवळ मुस्लिम आणि शीख ही धार्मिक अल्पसंख्यांक म्हणून गणले जात असे - भारत नंतर प्रजासत्ताक झाल्यानंतर, तीच संविधान सभा भारताची पहिली संसद बनली.[][][][][][][]
