व्होल्तेरा
व्होल्तेरा हे इटलीच्या तोस्काना प्रदेशातील एक तटबंदी असलेले पर्वतीय शहर आहे. त्याचा इतिहास इ.स.पू. ८व्या शतकापासूनचा आहे.[१] [२] [३] येथे अनेक प्राचीन इमारती व त्यांचे अवशेष आहेत. [४]
पंधराव्या शतकात येथे तुरटीच्या साठ्यांचा शोध लागल्याने फिरेंझेच्या प्रजासत्ताकाने येथे आपले लक्ष वळवले आणि हा साठा नियंत्रित करण्यासाठी सैन्य पाठवले.[५] व्होल्तेराच्या जनतेला फिरेंझेची राजवट पटली नाही व त्यांनी त्याविरुद्ध बंडखोरी केली [६] पण बंड फिरेंझेने हे बंड मोडीत काढले.
