Sahyadri is a Doordarshan's regional sattelite and terestrial channel mainly working in Maharashtra. It is the oldest tv channel in Maharashtra. Today channel telecast 24 hour transmission. Marathi news and serials have more viewership on this channel. Doordarshan producec most of its programme In-House. It has its own producers and technical staff. Some programmees, specially serials are made by private production houses. Its head office is in worli, Mumbai. Sahyadri has its own production studios. It is well equipped with latest technology from OB vans, Latest Editing setups to all production setups. The channel is always ahead in TRP rating from its marathi competitors.<br/>
