That's a fine idea. To start with, encourage all mr/en users on Marathi wikipedia by publishing this userbox on चावडी. Next, write messages on en/mr users (primarily writing on english wikipedia, but associated with marathi/maharashtra) and use this userbox as part of your signature/signoff.
That should get attention of a few. Once you advertize this userbox on चावडी and solicit suggestions, I'm sure we can think of other ways.
