Ajitkumar S Kadkade is a renowned classical and devotional singer and displays an outstanding voice culture, range and depth in his singing style.
 
His recitals on Shri Sai Baba of Shirdi have attracted many a soul in Shri Sai's path over the last fifteen years. Hailing from Goa, Sri Kadkade was molded by Padmashree Pundit Jitendra Abhisheki for over ten years having been trained before by Pundit Govindprasad Jaipurwala and Pundit Govindarao Agini. Sri Kadkade played in stage dramas for five years before giving it up for his first love which is classical music.
 
In his brief odyssey on the stage, He acted in plays such as "Sharda", "Saubhadra", etc. He now lives in Mumbai and has earned a name in the world of light classical and devotional singing.
 
Sri Kadkade holds his audience spell bound with his rapturous rendition of 'ragas', 'bhakti geet' and 'abhangas'. He has a reverberating chiseled voice with a sharp edge. Ardor and vigor are chief virtues of his renditions. His notal utterances are luminous. He showers surging Tans like a heavy downpour. Alarcity is the overbearing quality of his rendition. His diction like his guru Pundit Abhisheki is distinct and concerts precisely planned in the selection of ragas and elaboration.
 
In his singing career spanning over twenty five years till now, Sri Kadkade has held numerous recitals and has been invited by many a prestigious organizations in and outside India. He has been singing Sri Sai Baba's life and teachings through the medium of devotional songs since 1980s. On September 23, 1998 he performed at the Meher Dhun Endowment at Mumbai in a program dedicated to Jagadguru Sainath Maharaj. He has performed at the annual "Guru Samarpan Diwas" dedicated to Shri Sai Baba by the household of Kakasaheb Dixit. In February 2005, He performed at the Shirdi Sai Spiritual Trust in Gudgaon. He performed recently in Shirdi on the occasion of Gurupournima day on June 12, 2006.
