1. Open 'Control Panel'

2. Open 'Regional and Language Options'

3. Switch to 'Languages tab'

4. Click on 'Details' button in frame 'Text Services and Input Languages'

5. Click 'Add' button of dialog 'Text Services and Input Languages'

6. Select Marathi in the 'Input Language' list in dialog 'Add Input Languages'

7. Select Marathi in the 'Keyboard Layout/IME' list

8. Click OK to close all dialog boxes opened so far to confirm the selection

9. A 'Language Bar' should become visible on '[[:en:Taskbar|Taskbar]]' or in '[[:en:System Tray|System Tray]' where one can select keyboard layout to be activated
