या बेटावर आता सहली आयोजित केल्या जातात. पुर्वी आलेल्या [[स्पॅनीश]] लोकांनी इथल्या अनेक महत्त्वाच्या जीवांच्या कत्तली केल्या जसे की येथील मोठ्या पाठीची [[कासवे]] व छोटे [[पेंग्वीन पक्षी]]. मात्र आता हे एक [[अभयारण्य]] व जागतिक किर्ती असलेले [[पर्यटन]] विषयक ठिकाण आहे.
